Jarrett and Jerome Pumphrey are award-winning children's book authors and illustrators. Their books include the format-bending chapter book series Link + Hud as well as the acclaimed picture books The Old Truck, Somewhere in the Bayou, and The Last Stand written by Antwan Eady. Their illustrations for There Was a Party for Langston by Jason Reynolds earned them Caldecott Honor and Coretta Scott King Honor awards. Originally from Houston, the brothers now live in Austin, Texas.
